Skateboard Christmas Stocking Fillers

The Christmas season is upon us, and you’ve either found your way here because you want some small skateboard themed presents for yourself or you’re looking for someone else. Therefore I’ve compiled a list of low cost small skateboard themed gifts/presents that could be used as stocking fillers. I dont want to go over the budget of $15 USD or £10 GBP.

1. Skateboard Wax For Skateboard Stocking Fillers

Skate wax is absolutely essential to any skater that ever wishes to do more than simply stand on a skateboard, because some of the first tricks we learn are board slides, nose slides and 50/50s. These skateboard tricks often work well because of the addition to wax on the surface we’re trying to grind. Skateboard wax is usually a low cost gift and they come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colours. Therefore skateboard wax is an excellent stocking filler for Christmas.

2. Tech deck Skateboards For Skateboard Stocking Fillers

All kids love a tech deck, they’re pretty much mini skateboards but for your fingers. The really cool thing about them is that there are many designs, so even though you may not want to spend $100 on the specific deck that your friend or child wants, you can possibly get it in miniature form. The designs tend to be the classic and famous decks from the last decade or two but there’s a lot of choice. It’s also possible to take a tech deck apart and mix and match the components (wheels, trucks, deck) etc. They also cost less than $10, so they really do make for a great skateboard stocking filler.

3. Skateboard Multi Tool For Skateboard Stocking Fillers

A skateboard multi tool, is a brilliant investment. It’s a tool that has most types of fittings for skateboards from specific spanner sizes to a cross head and Allen key. This saves you hunting through many tools to get the right fit and it’s always compact so can be dropped into your skateboard bag ready for any park trip or street session. They tend to also cost less than $10, so again a perfect skateboard stocking filler for Christmas.

4. Skateboard Bolts For Skateboard Stocking Fillers

I’ve put these into the list because most default boards when you buy completes will come with all black bolts. This creates a small problem if you like to ride your skateboard deck in the correct direction (remember the nose and tail are rarely the same). Now there are a few ways to mess around and make identifiers to sort this out, and make sure the board is always the correct way around but!! the best and simplest way is often the most preferred. This is to have custom bolts, where one or a few of them will be different colours. For example I often ride with a single yellow bolt in my front trucks, so I know exactly what way around my board should be. If you dont want to buy them you could always spray paint a couple (I did this) but buying the paint is the same cost as just buying the bolts. They normally cost less than $10, so skateboard bolts make for great stocking fillers.

5. Computer Games For Skateboard Stocking Fillers

Every day cant be a skateboard day unfortunately, the weather can be rubbish sometimes, and the nearest indoor park could be too far or too expensive. Therefore we need to get our skateboard fix in another way, this is where Tony Hawk and his greatness comes to mind. Buy a Tony Hawks computer game. I think the latest is Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1+2 and second hand this should cost around $10, therefore perfect for a stocking filler idea if the person you’re buying for has a games console.
